New Year's Greeting...n'aw that.

After receiving endless messages and texts wishing me well for this year,  I felt that to write anything myself would be to perpetuate the cliches to the point of everyones nausea. Some love them and others boak at them. Myself, well I'm not to bothered. So here are some greetings from those of great wit, and like me you may find yourself oscillating between the first and the last.

For my optimist friends: “Be always at war with your vices, at peace with your neighbors, and let each new year find you a better man,” – Benjamin Franklin

Or those a little pessimistic: 'New Year’s is a harmless annual institution, of no particular use to anybody save as a scapegoat for promiscuous drunks, and friendly calls and humbug resolutions.' ~ Mark Twain

For the
cynical: 'New Year’s Resolution: To tolerate fools more gladly, provided this does not encourage them to take up more of my time.' ~ James Agate

And from me, another (but very important) cliche: Enjoy your life and don't sweat the small stuff.
