A landscape of many voices

Read some chapters of this in university, now for a serious read.....It's a tremendous challenge to step outside of the religious narrative and confront other voices. In one sense I can't avoid it, but then again the deconstruction of such narratives often leaves me feeling my way forward amidst many voices. It becomes more of a voyage of devotional mysticism rather than a religious/textual construction and performance. That may be there in the beginning, but in time it becomes a fine line and a subtle space, where the heartbeat can be heard distinctly.
